1. Key Features to Look For
When you’re shopping for a Bestway 22×12 pool, keep these important features in mind.
Durability and Strength
- Frame Material: Look for a sturdy frame. Steel is usually the best choice. It holds up well over time.
- Wall Construction: The pool walls should be made of strong, puncture-resistant material. This prevents leaks and tears.
Size and Shape
- Dimensions: The 22×12 size offers plenty of space for swimming and playing. It’s great for families and friends.
- Depth: Consider the pool’s depth. A good depth allows for splashing and even some gentle diving for kids.
Included Accessories
- Pump and Filter: A good pump and filter system is essential. It keeps your water clean and clear.
- Ladder: A sturdy ladder makes getting in and out of the pool easy and safe.
- Ground Cloth: A ground cloth protects the pool’s bottom from rough surfaces.
- Cover: A cover keeps debris out when the pool is not in use.
2. Important Materials
The materials used in your Bestway pool make a big difference in how long it lasts and how safe it is.
- PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride): This is a common material for the pool liner. High-quality PVC is strong and flexible. It resists UV rays and chlorine.
- Steel: The frame is usually made of galvanized steel. This metal is strong and resists rust. Look for powder-coated steel for extra protection.
- Plastic Components: Ladders and pump parts are often made of durable plastic. Ensure they feel solid and well-made.
3. Factors That Improve or Reduce Quality
Some things make a Bestway pool better, while others can make it less reliable.
Improving Quality
- Thicker Liner: A thicker pool liner is more resistant to punctures and tears.
- Robust Frame Design: A well-designed frame with strong connections adds stability.
- High-Quality Filter Pump: A powerful and efficient pump keeps your water cleaner for longer.
- UV Protection: Materials treated to resist the sun’s rays will last longer.
Reducing Quality
- Thin Liner: A thin liner can easily get damaged.
- Weak Frame: A flimsy frame can bend or break, making the pool unsafe.
- Poorly Made Accessories: Cheap pumps or ladders can break easily.
- Lack of UV Resistance: Sunlight can degrade materials over time.
4. User Experience and Use Cases
A Bestway 22×12 pool offers a fantastic user experience for many different situations.
- Family Fun: It’s perfect for cooling off on hot days. Kids can splash and play for hours. Parents can relax nearby.
